WHO ARE WE?
INVESCO Assurance Co. Ltd. was incorporated in 1997 under Cap 486 Companies' Act Laws of Kenya. It was placed under statutory management on 28th February 2008. The company emerged out of statutory management on 18th January 2010 after the Matatu Owners Association made a proposal to revive the company. INVESCO will be celebrating its Silver Jubilee (25 years) this year. The company is the oldest operating PSV underwriter.
We have since grown in leaps and bounds to be one of the largest Insurance underwriters in Kenya. The company is licensed to transact all lines of general insurance business and has its headquarters in Nairobi and 27 Branches countrywide.INVESCO is proud of its leadership in providing PSV insurance solutions to a countrywide customer base. INVESCO has spent a considerable time analyzing and gaining insight into new vertical markets and has a wide array of products tailored towards meeting the dynamic needs of its specific clients.

CHAIRMAN
Mr. Stephen Kirubi Njoka
Mr. Kirubi, the new board chair, is a seasoned banker, management and leadership executive. His expertise is in change and performance management, and strategic and public sector reforms. He holds a BA degree in economics and public administration from Punjabi University in India and a BA in psychology from Collin County Community College in USA.
