Simon Kimutai is a career investor in the Public Transport Sector and has been at the forefront of bringing positive change to it. Mr Kimutai is the chairman of Matatu Owners Association (MOA) and also the chairman of two well-known matatu transport companies, the Star Bus group and the Compliant/Compliance Management Company Ltd, the latter which operates buses under the “MOA Compliant” and “MOA Compliance” trade names.
He is also a Chairman/Director of Thinture Kenya Limited and Papo Hapo Solution which deals with fleet management and digital speed gadget.Mr. Kimutai is also a member at the National Road Safety Trust and was recently appointed Chairman of Kabianga Tea Farm based in Kericho.
As Chairman and founder member of “new” Invesco, Mr. Kimutai is also Chair of the majority shareholder of Invesco, Public Transport Investment Company Ltd.Kimutai has a degree in Business Management from University of Kabianga.
Stephen Murunga is a former civil servant who ventured into the public transport sector more than fifteen years ago.
Mr. Murunga is the second national vice chairman of Matatu Owners Association (MOA) and also the Vice Chairman of Invesco Board of Directors.
Mr. Murunga is the managing director of PTICL and a director in both Compliant Management Company Ltd and Compliance Management Company Ltd.
Joseph Njogu Mungai is a founder member of Matatu Owners Association (MOA) and is its National Treasurer. Mr. Mungai is also the Secretary General for 2KR105 Sacco, a respected transport Sacco in Nairobi plying the Kikuyu route.
Mr. Mungai holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi, and is a director of PTICL, Compliant Management Company Ltd and Compliance Management Company Ltd.
Albert Karakacha is a founder member of Matatu Owners Association (MOA) and is its National Coordinator. Mr. Karakacha is a skilled and accomplished organizer and is also Chairman of Jessmat Sacco, a well-regarded transport Sacco in Nairobi country.
Mr. Karakacha has extensive experience in the transport sector and is a director of PTICL, Compliant Management Company Ltd and Compliance Management Company Ltd.
Obadiah Kioko Kavivya is a company secretary by profession and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya, ICPSK.
Mr. Kavivya has a wealth of corporate experience and has been a long time Company Secretary at the Alliance Hotels group where together with the CEO Raymond Matiba successfully steered the group from the indebtedness it had accumulated.
At present Mr. Kavivya is Company Secretary at PTICL and a director of Invesco. He is a previous Company Secretary of Invesco and an important individual shareholder.
Mr. Muteti is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya National Federation of Jua Kali Associations (KNFJA), an umbrella association of primary small businesses associations across Kenya. Richard is also the founder and Director of the Small and Medium Enterprise Support, East Africa (SMES-EA) an institution that works in partnership with individual and small business membership associations in Kenya and the East African region to facilitate their access to critical inputs needed for their development.
In 2008, He was appointed the Regional Project Manager of the EAC Jua Kali (MSEs) Exhibitions an initiative of the five Partner States of the EAC Community whose objectives include; Reducing poverty in the EAC region through enhanced industrial and commercial trade between the SMEs, encouraging dialogue between regional entrepreneurs and exchange of ideas and technology while Creating expanded investment opportunities for the EAC regional upcoming entrepreneurs.
He has been a Director of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) since 2008 and sit in the Presidential Private Sector Working Forum in Kenya. In December 2009, the Head of State of the Republic of Kenya awarded him the Head of State (HSC) Commendation for distinguished service to the society.
Mr. Muteti is currently the Chairman of the COMESA Business Council SMEs Workgroup representing the 19 countries in the region.

Mohammed Hersi is the Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Hotels Limited and was previously the Regional General Manager for the Sarova Coast Region from 2007 – 2013. He has also held positions at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa and Nyali Beach Hotel as the General Manager.
Mohammed Hersi holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from Kenya Utalii College, Cambridge International Post Graduate Diploma in Management and MBA from Regent Business School in Durban, South Africa.
